Vietnam Women CEO Indexes 

The Vietnam Women CEO Indexes launched in 2013 as the world’s first series tracking listed companies led by female CEOs on HOSE and HNX. From 38 companies at 5.23 percent in 2012 the number tripled to 110 by January 2024 reaching about 15 percent representation nearly double the US S&P 500 rate.

The index family comprises an All-Shares version (available in both full capitalization-weighted and equal-weighted formats) that covers every listed company with a female CEO, as well as tradable Top 10 and Top 25 versions. The latter select the largest and most liquid companies by free-float market capitalization, making them suitable as underlying assets for ETFs, funds, or derivatives.

Available in both price and total return versions and denominated in multiple currencies, including VND, USD, EUR, JPY, and later additions such as SGD, CNY, HKD, AUD, CAD, and even cryptocurrencies like USDT and USDC. The series underscores the performance edge, innovation, and resilience often associated with female-led companies while advancing gender diversity in Vietnam’s dynamic equity market.
